David Lee Morrison

1970 - 2002

On July 23, 2002 David lost his battle to cancer.  David was instrumental in establishing the Pine Castle Neighborhood Organization by writing the nomination application on behalf of the entire community.  David was a loving son and model community leader.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  It is the goal of the Pine Castle Safe Communities to keep David's vision of "a safe place to raise our children" alive, while maintaining an improved quality of life.

A few more notes on David

David was a very active individual who loved life, and loved God.  He was an active Boy Scout and had obtained that rare and high honor of achieving Eagle Scout in 1985.  For his God and Church Project, he built and landscaped the parking lot of the Pine Castle United Methodist Church.  It was in this church that David gave his life to Christ in 1983 and remained a dedicated member until his death.
